The Biddys have the gift of the gab to be sure! They tell stories about everything from marriage to
menopause! They sing specially written comedy songs and will make you pee yer pants so they will!
When they took part in TVNZ’s New Zealand's Got Talent, they got three yes’s, a standing ovation, and
made it through to one of 250 acts out of the 5,000 who auditioned.
Filmed at St James Theatre, Wellington in front of a live audience, their act was on episode three of NZGT
on TVNZ. Their TV clip even made it to the ‘Jono & Ben’ show after NZGT had aired.
Each one a ‘Triple Threat’, they sing, dance and act. When they’re not doing one of those, they’re writing
comedy material and songs for their shows and performances.
They wrote, produced and performed in their own comedy show ‘The Biddys & Friends, A Bit of a Do’, to
sold out audiences, and will be creating another Biddy show for 2018.
They’ve performed throughout much of New Zealand and have played at functions, conferences and
events such as the Sustainable Home & Garden show, Te Papa, Wellington Hotels, corporate indoor and
outdoor events, shopping malls, many retirement villages and clubs, pubs, cafes and restaurants.
They enjoy giving back to their community by performing at fundraisers; most recently for Pink Ribbon,
Heart Kids and supporting their local youth.
They took part in the Wellington Fringe Festival and are guest entertainers on cruise ships!
Who are these daft Irish women…
and what do they do?
